When I write stories, I'm always waiting for the final puzzle piece that clicks into place and lets me see the full picture from beginning to end. For Black Peak, it was the underground fighting ring that did it. There was a post from someone talking about one on "Humans of New York" and Black Peak's story crystallized right in front of me.
